To celebrate National Poetry Day, we were visited by Kate Wakeling. Y6 were treated to an informative talk which proceeded the exciting poetry competition, whereby children across the school performed their amazing poems to our special guest.
Kate was so impressed and taken back by the quality of oracy as well as the quality of the poetry! A huge congratulations to Violet class winner, Innes, and Amethyst class winner, Nina, who showed off their poetic flair!
