Year 3 has had an exciting first week back. They have become thespians, devising roleplays about Jesus’ miracles in the Gospels, which they performed in front of their class.
Additionally, they attended an assembly about CAFOD, given by Sister Anne. They learned about the work that CAFOD does to help people across the world. Year 3 has been learning about charities in PSHE, so they were enthralled to learn about the good work that CAFOD does.
In Music, Year 3 have become composers on the glockenspiel. They wrote their compositions on sheet music in pairs, using the note values they have learned this year, such as ‘crotchet’ and ‘minim’, and composed using a range of notes they have been playing in class. It was very exciting to hear our budding composers perform their work at the end of the lesson!
