We had a fantastic week in Year 2! In our English learning we explored the outside woodland area and discussed what we could see, hear and do in the environment around us.
We had so much fun creating stick tree houses, making leaf patterns and discovering many wriggly insects!
We then used this for inspiration to compose beautiful poetry about the amazing world around us.
In Religion we discussed the many roles Jesus had been given by the prophet Isaiah: Bringer of peace, Ever-loving father, Strong friend and Powerful God. We presented this information in groups and spoke about how God is with us all the time as a friend and father to help us in our learning.
