Nursery have had a fantastic first full week back at school! Everyone has settled in so well and has been amazing at showing our Golden Rules.
We have had lots of fun this week with a range of activities. The children practised making their faces out of playdough and used colourful tissue paper to create their very own mini-me. We also started our self-portraits, and the children did an incredible job at painting themselves with such care and creativity.
In preparation for our maths learning next week, we enjoyed some colour-matching activities and have been exploring our environment to learn more about our current season, Autumn.
In RE, we have been practising making the Sign of the Cross, creating our own beautiful crosses, and reflecting on our school mission statement: We learn, love and grow with God at the centre.
Well done, Nursery – it has been a wonderful start to the year. We are so proud of you all!
