Pearl Class enjoyed their second trip of the school year yesterday, and this time we were excited to get to travel on a bus! We did an amazing job of listening to our adults on the journey. We caught the 210 bus to Golders Hill Park.
When we got there we went to the zoo area. We saw red deer and fallow deer. Some were really big!
We then saw some exotic birds – such as an Ibis and an Egret.
The lemurs and wild cat were asleep, but the wallabies were very active, and were jumping very high! We saw donkeys who were eating hay.
We also saw chickens, a pheasant and even kookaburras.
We talked about what we saw and described the animals. We went to the pond area to have a snack and saw more ducks.
We crossed a bridge then headed back to school as we were all ready for lunch!
