Nursery settled confidently into their final term this academic year, and have started learning about our new theme, ‘Watch me Grow.’ And haven’t we just! We have already talked about our jumpers becoming tighter, and decided to measure ourselves to see just how tall we are now.
We reflected on how our skills are growing too! We are proud of the progress in doing things independently.
We have have begun to talk about what things grow, and what might help them do this. We have been hard at work as doctors, nurses and receptionists in our baby clinic role play area – where we have been looking after the babies and learning about the many things that babies need to thrive. We have been bathing, brushing, weighing and even measuring them.
We have also been looking at how trees and plants have grown in our outdoor areas. We have already observed some signs of summer and have captured our responses with creative artworks. We are excitedly looking forward to watching more things grow in the weeks to come!
