The last week of the half term was a busy one for Pearl Class! We settled marvellously well into our new classroom and have been especially enjoying exploring our outdoor environment. We enjoyed retelling our first traditional tale: ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’ and we used blocks and instruments to accompany the story.
We acted out the story both inside and out, and experimented with moving in different ways across the bridge.
We received a letter from the troll, asking us to make him a new bridge, and we tried making bridges out of all sorts of materials.
We made goats as well as some spectacular trolls from playdough, collage, pipe cleaners and beads.
