Welcome to Week 2! We’ve had another busy week in Pearl and White Class, where we introduced our theme for this half term, ‘Me and My Family’. This week the children have spent some time creating portraits of themselves. It was great to see how they described and visualised themselves, and to watch them recreate their own face using different materials.
The children have also been sharing their ‘special boxes’. We have enjoyed listening to the children talk about themselves and sharing the photos and objects that represent what is special to them with their friends. The children are displaying the golden rule “We are respectful to each other” by listening to their peers share their special treasures!
The children also participated in P.E with Mr Grant and Music with Miss Marshall this week! They had an absolute ball – playing sports in the Hall and listening to Miss Marshall play the ukulele. We have also started learning about prayer and the school Mission Statement.
