Nursery participated in several special events this week. This week was maths week at St. Josephs and we had lots of fun learning about numbers whilst getting fit during a ‘numberfit’ lesson.
On Tuesday we learnt about the importance of looking after the environment. We were concerned to find plastic floating around our sea creatures in the water tray and we talked about what we can do to help animals and nature. We created our own ‘green footprints’ and Earths using paint and collage materials. We also observed the nature outside and made our own autumn tree art.
On Thursday we took part in our exciting fun run. As well as running we moved around the hall in different ways and many of us wore colours from our home countries. We all did a great job!
We have also been learning about birthdays and have been reading ‘Happy Birthday Maisy’. We have been making birthday cakes, cards and even counting candles.
