Welcome back!
This week we spent some time resettling the children and discussing how we use the different areas of our classroom and outdoor space. We also introduced our new theme: Superheroes! The children have loved dressing up in a mask and capes, pretending to be their favourite superheroes. The children helped paint and colour in a life size superhero for our classroom display!
We also took part in their first lesson from the module: ‘Jesus’s Journey’. Our Learning objective was: To encounter the story of the Wise Men visiting Jesus.
We read the story of the wise men visiting baby Jesus, from Matthews Gospel. We used Nativity Scene figures to support children’s’ understanding of the scripture.
And finally….SNOW!!
