Nursery started their week learning about St. George’s day and we made some stunning flags to celebrate it.
We read our key text ‘Rainbow fish’ and used collage and paint to create some wonderful fish for our classroom.
We practised letter formation in sand with our ‘seaweed brushes’ and practised cutting wave shapes.
We used dice to practise ‘subitising’: counting just by looking. We played ‘fish scale bingo’ using this skill. We also painted sea creatures and used magnets to ‘fish’ for them.
