The ‘Dino Cave’ has been in full swing this week! Our story of the week was called ‘Mad about Dinosaurs’. Children confidently spoke about their favourite dinosaurs and described its features. This week we also spoke about how paleontologists found dinosaur fossils in the ground! We decided to create our own fossils using salt dough. We added the fossils into the sand and soil tray where children became paleontologists searching for the fossils!
On Monday, we also commemorated Remembrance Day. We talked about its the Day when we remember heroes and people who have helped us. The children created poppies and spoke about wearing poppies to school.
