This week in Reception we have been enthusiastically learning all about minibeasts. Children have used their phonic knowledge to write all about minibeasts and their fine motor skills to create their very own minibeasts with playdough. On Tuesday, our fairies, Trixie and Evie, delivered some caterpillars to our classroom. The children have been very excited to come in each day to check how they are growing using the magnifying glasses. The caterpillars are already so much bigger and have been creating some silk in the jars. We are wondering how long it will be until they make a cocoon!
