Reception enjoyed creating maps of their outdoor environment to help new students that need to find their way around! Some children even designed their own dream playground. They looked at the features and talked about where they were in relation to each other using lots of prepositional language such as; next to, near, beside, behind, in front and opposite! We also enjoyed exploring lots of other types of maps and the globe!
