This week in year 2 we had our first Liturgy of the word! We were delighted to have Father George join us and we welcomed all of our wonderful parents and carers too!
We thoroughly enjoyed the service and read some beautiful prayers. We all agreed it was a really special moment and an opportunity to bring every together. The children reflected on the Liturgy of the word afterwards and particularly felt the importance of Father George’s message, which was to always smile and show kindness to others as they will show this back to you. This was very fitting as we started the week of with supporting our metal health! It’s fair to say we were full of smiles for the rest of the day!
