This week in Little Gems we have been reading the story Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes. After reading the story we looked at what other features we have on our bodies. The children counted their two eyes, two ears, one nose and one mouth.
The children then made themselves using skin coloured crayons and pencils for their face. They also used stickers for their eyes and coloured pencils to decorate their clothes.
The children also used the paper plates to create their faces. They chose different paints for their skin tone, then added wool for their hair and used the pens to create their facial features.
We also used the playdough to create our different body parts.
