This week in Little Gems we began our new theme ‘Colours.’ We started by listening to the story ‘Elmer’ looking and identifying the colours.
The children explored colours using shredded paper, thoroughly enjoying throwing the paper into the air to see where it landed.
They used playdough to create their own Elmer’s.
They also painted their own Elmer’s using a range of different colours.
We explored the colours ‘red’ and ‘yellow.’ Playing with objects that were those colours. The children also painted using just those colours to create our own colourful bunting.
