This week in Little Gems we have been getting ready for Christmas. The children have been mark making letters to Santa and posting them into the letter boxes.
The children have been decorating their own Christmas stockings using Christmas sequins, glitter and cotton wool.
We also had a surprise visit from an elf all the way from the North Pole who brought a gift. We had to name the elf and as a class we chose ‘Snowflake.’ The children were very happy to see the gift all wrapped up and excitedly opened it together.
The children upon opening the gift discovered a tree. The adults built the tree and the children happily used the baubles and string beads to decorate the tree.
