In Geography lessons this week, the children have been looking at London from a bird’s eye view. We used a film clip of a bird flying over our city with a GoPro camera attached as well as Google Maps to help us get a sense of what London looks like from above.
English lessons have been really creative as the children got to grips with script writing, editing and then filming their Dick Whittington stories using DoInk’s Green Screen app. With just an iPad, A4 green sheet of paper and some cut out characters, the children brought the story to life with their own incredible acting skills.
We can’t end this blog until SJG gets a mention. ‘Talent’ fever has really gripped the entire school and no where more so than in Year 4. What an array of talent we have! From gymnasts to musicians and comedians to magicians. Well done everyone – great auditions!
