Nursery went to visit Kentish Town City Farm this week and had a whale of time. We saw all the farmyard animals and had the chance to touch and feed them as well as learn lots of interesting facts about them from our excellent tour guide Chris. For example, did you know that a cow produces over 70 pints of dribble per day?! Disgusting! Following on from the little red Hen story we learnt how to grind wheat to make flour and even had a go ourselves. It was really exciting to take the bus together with our friends and share experiences from outside of school. A huge thankyou to all our adult volunteers for giving up thier time to help us. Fantastic job!
