This week, we started our new topic, ‘Let’s Celebrate’ sharing our experiences of how we celebrated Halloween over the half term holidays. We read the story Funny bones and made moveable skeletons using split pins and named the bones in our bodies. We also read ‘Room on the Broom’ and had lots of fun with rhyming words. We made broomsticks and drew things that rhymed. We also had a visit from the witch on Friday! She was very impressed that we had been learning all about her story and we were able to ask her some questions using who, what, why, where, when and how!
In maths, we have been learning different ways to make three using numicon and our Funny Bones skeletons to help us!
