We have had another very busy week in Reception! On Tuesday we had lots of fun celebrating Shrove Tuesday by participating in a pancake race and eating pancakes. On Wednesday Year 5 children came to put ashes on our head as it was Ash Wednesday. We discussed how Lent has now begun and why this is a special time.
On Thursday we had a great day celebrating World Book Day. The children loved spending the day in their fantastic costumes and we shared lots of stories together.
We also had a fantastic maths themed stay and play today. Thank you so much to all who were able to attend. We hope you found the session useful. The power point used will be uploaded onto parent pay on Monday.
