What a brilliant week we have had in Reception! We have really been challenging ourselves in all areas and showing all the skills we have learnt over the year.
Our Maths focus was doubling and counting and in Literacy we have been using our sounds to write super letters for VIP!
We enjoyed going out on a very sunny Friday morning with our super parent helpers (thank you very much) to the top of the hill to Post our letters. Please see tapestry for more photos.
Our homework this week is to practise some addition and subtraction. Please use tangible objects such as fruit, toys, sweets, balls etc and do not focus too much on the recording aspect. The children have learnt to write number sentences, but we want them to enjoy Math and understand the concept rather than have to write it down.
