What a day Year 1 had! It is odd to think that there are farms within our mammoth metropolis with donkey, pigs, goats, chickens and hen. But they do exist; giving our children a wonderful opportunity to experience ‘country life’.
The children roamed about the farm, admiring the animals and pinched their noses as they passed the pigs. They met a duck up close and personal and saw a kid goat being rescued by a passer by.
We were all blessed with the weather on our trip and so the children enjoyed a well deserved play in the park.
