On Monday we had a very special visitor to Reception! Bruno, a retired guide dog, and his owner, Elizabeth, came to tell us all about how guide dogs help others.
Elizabeth explained how the charity, Guide Dogs UK, train puppies to become guide dogs to work with people who are blind or partially sighted. Bruno is now retired and enjoys visiting hospitals as a therapy dog and visits schools to talk about how dogs can help people.
The children were very excited to be able to stroke Bruno and have been talking about his visit all week. Today we performed a show to our parents and all money raised from ticket sales will be donated to Guide Dogs UK. Thank you for your donations!
