This week, year 5 have completed a range of activities – some of which required working as a team!
In Geography, we worked in pairs to find explore the sources of different food dishes across the world. We discussed the importance of transport and trade agreements in allowing us to experience a range of food.
We put our acting skills to the test in RE and RSE. Working in groups, we acted out a story to explore how more freedom can also mean more responsibility. We also looked at the story of Zacchaeus from Luke’s Gospel. We discussed what his life may have been like before and after his encounter with Jesus. Some groups discussed how the story may have played out in the modern world today.
Lastly, a massive well done to Emanuele who has completed level 16 in Lexia! Fantastic!
