Gordon Brown trip…

It’s getting VERY close! And, we are getting VERY excited in Year 4.

 

The children have had their Kit Lists sent home with them today. Ready for some half term shopping, and organising.

KIT LIST FOR THE GORDON BROWN CENTRE

 

At the Gordon Brown Centre we love working outside, so be prepared to spend a lot of time outdoors.

 

REMEMBER – ONLY BRING CLOTHES YOU DON’T MIND GETTING WET OR MUDDY

 

 Clothing

• Warm, waterproof coat or anorak with a hood.
• Warm casual clothing, e.g. sweatshirts, jeans, tracksuits, etc. for use out of doors –
• Remember it may be wet and cold so you will need lots of spare clothing (at least 5 sets of clothes)
• Socks & underwear – plenty of changes
• Gloves, scarf, hat

 Other things to Bring

• Sleeping Bag (Please fill in form attached, and send £5 in a named envelope if required by Tuesday 21^st February)

• Single fitted bed sheet

 

• Pillow and a pillow case
• Plastic bin liner
• Nightwear
• Towel
• Wash bag including soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc.
• Wellingtons- with NAME written on. (Please fill in form attached, and send £1 in a named envelope with child’s shoe size if required by Tuesday 21^st February)
• Trainers or strong, waterproof walking shoes (preferably not new ones, at least 2 pairs)
• Indoor shoes, e.g. plimsolls or slippers.
• Sun Cream, hats and sunglasses (if required).
• Dirty washing bag (black bin liner)
• Plastic water bottle
• Spare plastic bag

 

• Pocket money Pocket money will be collected in on the morning we leave and distributed to children when they have their shopping time slot.
• Maximum £10 in small change (no coppers) in a labelled purse -The Gordon Brown Centre has a wide range of souvenirs.

 Medication

See separate medical form (to be handed out on Tuesday 21st February).

 Please do NOT bring

• Valuables, jewellery, etc.

• Any electrical gadgets eg iPods, MP3 players, games consoles etc

• Mobile telephones

• Food Tuck! Cameras can be brought at children’s own risk, disposable preferred. The school does not take responsibility for any camera.ALL CLOTHES AND BELONGINGS MUST BE CLEARLY LABELLED
