Friday 24th March 2017, we had a visit from Google Expeditions…
The children viewed the story of pollination in their own personal 3-D word using Virtual Reality ‘VR’ head pieces. This technology allows the children to be immersed in what they can see, allowing them to move their head around and view the scene in a complete 360 degrees angle. This gives the impression of them being their, hence the name virtual reality.
As you can see below from the photos the children really enjoyed it! With this they learnt a great deal about pollination, great news leading up to their next topic of plants. See if you can ask them what they learnt at home!
