Celebrating National Poetry Day with our Poet-tree.
Year 4 produced some thoughtful poetry for National Poetry Day on the theme of FREEDOM.
They discussed what freedom means to them, what freedom looks like and why freedom is important.
Thank-you to all the families for your wonderful fundraising efforts for the Caribbean Crisis Appeal. The children have enjoyed a day immersed in the Caribbean culture:
- Singing the Reggae tunes of Bob Marley with Miss Slattery.
- Baking delicious veggie patties with Mr Bhol.
- Learning about the different Caribbean countries with Mr Charles.
- Blogging about the huricanes with Mr Ferry.
