In Year 1 this term our topic is ‘Get Out of My Swamp.’ As part of this, this week the children have been really busy designing and making their very own swamp monster out of various medias. The children have constructed monsters out of; clay, playdoh, paint and junk modelling. We even worked collaboratively to build a large swamp monster for our classroom display. It is safe to say we all got very creative and the children made some very interesting (and scary) monsters!
