We have had a fantastic week of learning in Year 2!
In Maths, we have continued our learning all about fractions and have been exploring halves, quarters and thirds of shapes and of different amounts.
In English, we have been using the fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood, as a stimulus for our writing. We explored the woodlands to help inspire us with vocabulary for writing the setting description of the forest!
In History, we learnt all about Florence Nightingale and the amazing impact she had on the profession of Nursing. We had such an amazing week of learning, we can’t wait until next week to begin it all again!
