This week in Reception we have been celebrating Black History Month. We read ‘Handa’s Surprise’ and made masks and story puppets to support our role play. On Friday we were lucky enough to have a variety of tasty food from different cultures to taste. We enjoyed trying new flavours that we have not tried before and learning about different cultures. Thank you to all the parents who were able to contribute a dish from your culture.
In maths this week we have been learning about 2D shapes, their names and their properties. We have enjoyed going on a shape hunt in the environment to look around for different shapes.
