Throughout this term we have been learning all about different Traditional Fairy-tales by reading, writing and acting out different scenes from our favourite stories. On Thursday this week in year one we had a Fairy-tale Day to celebrate our learning. We came to school dressed as characters from these stories. We started our day with a fairy-tale parade to meet all of our characters!
Throughout the day we completed different activities linked to our English topic including making our own fairy-tale books, writing character sketches, building castles and role-playing some of our stories. We had lots of fairy-tale fun!
