After lunch on Wednesday, the children in Year 1 were greeted by two polar explorers who informed them that they were off on a great expedition to the Polar Regions. The children decided on the things that they would need to bring along and promptly set off to wrap themselves up in their coats, hats and scarves. When we arrived temperatures were sub-zero and we could hear the sounds of nature around us. The children used technology to explore the surroundings. Some even spotted a polar bear! The super explorers soon deduced that we must be in the Arctic. We are certainly very keen to head back soon!
