What a fantastic week we have had in Year 2! We begun by taking inspiration from Richard Garriott’s expedition where he recently dived in to the deepest part of the ocean, located in the Mariana Trench and we have become explorers ourselves!
We used our outdoor learning spaces to imagine the different senses, collecting a range of interesting vocabulary ready for our story writing!
We continued our outdoor learning and we went on a pilgrimage around the school. On this journey we looked for different Stations of the Cross. At each of the stations we stopped and reflected on what was happening.
We also celebrated St Patricks day on Wednesday! The children had fun dressing in green and spreading the Irish spirit!
In our topic work the children enjoyed exploring and investigating a range of wonderful historical and religious artefacts and then presented their findings to the class!
