This week in Year 2 we have learnt a lot about the Stations of the Cross. We visited St Joseph’s Church on Monday afternoon where Fr. Pat spoke to us about what the stations are and how we should pray the Stations of the Cross. We then walked around the Church and stopped at each station reading it and reflecting on what was happening in it.
The Young Speaker Challenge took place on Wednesday afternoon. Lots of children did a fantastic job in preparing their speeches over the weekend and it was very difficult for the children in Diamond and Yellow Classes to choose a winner. Dylan represented Diamond Class and Lana represented Yellow class. Both children did a great job at representing their class.
A reminder to all parents and carers about the final Maths Workshop on Monday morning at 9:15 am. The focus of the session will be addition and subtraction. We look forward to seeing you there.
