What a fantastic week we had in Year 4!
We have been working very hard in all our subjects this week. In English we have been describing settings in our book ‘The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe’, thinking about the different senses we can use to add description. Our Mathematicians were focused on adding 4-digit numbers using the column method. In Religion we have been thinking about families, reflecting on where we come from and how we are all a part of God’s family. In our Science lesson we continued to explore how sound travels, using an interesting hanger and string experiment.
We have also been dancing our socks off in PE; exploring the Haka dance and using our movements, facial expressions and voices to scare our classmates. We even made up our own dances to nursery rhymes, and as you can see by our video, the children pulled out all the stops!
