We had a fun and creative week in Year 2, exploring our learning through music, art and poetry. In Religion, we listened to ‘Morning’ by Edvard Grieg and we discussed how God is present in all beginnings and is with us from the beginning of a new day. This inspired us to paint beautiful depictions of a sunrise to show God’s presence in the world around us.
We also had a fantastic time celebrating National Poetry Day on the 1st October, by creating poems in the theme of colour. We enjoyed hearing different poems and exploring how creative poetry can be!
