We have had another awesome week in year 1. We have been working so hard on our counting numbers from 0-20 throughout the week involving paint and crayons. This week in science we also learned about our body parts and our senses with lots of brilliant creative work to go with it. As well as this we also continued working on our handwriting whilst adding labels/captions about our colour monsters in English…they look fantastic! Throughout the week we also worked on our super construction skills in the outdoors and are delighted with lots of new construction equipment. Our favourite construction of the week was this life-size car!
We have also been given our own area of the school grounds to care for. Miss Horne and Mr Murray have been so impressed with how much the children want to care for the flowers and wildlife and hope this will develop a lifelong love of our natural world.
