This week in Year 2 we have been working very hard to learn our lines, songs and dances for our Christmas Nativity.
We continued our learning about Advent and how we can prepare for the birth of Jesus. We looked in more detail at some of the different signs and symbols of Advent such as the Advent wreath, the candles on the Advent wreath, Advent calendars and the colour purple. We then had the opportunity to write our own Advent prayers and create a whole class Advent calendar! We will be opening one door everyday throughout Advent and we will be praying for the intention behind that door.
