Today, as a school, we celebrated Mission Day. The theme in Year 5 and 6 was ‘The Dignity of the Human Person’. Year 5 undertook various activities one of which was a debate focusing on the statement, ‘People care more for possessions than other people’. This brought up lots of interesting arguments and the children approached the subject with maturity and understanding. We ended the session by writing letters to the Mayor of Islington; we hope to receive lots of replies!
