This week we began our new story ‘The Bog Baby’ by Jeanne Will and Gwen Millward. The children discovered two little Bog Babies in our outdoor area. We wrote about where we thought they had come from and then created our own Bog Baby models using play dough. The children then wrote instructions. In maths this week we have continued to share, double and half using a variety of resources. The children have also solved problems linked to sharing.
In Religion we began our new topic ‘Living like Jesus.’ The children have began learning the parable of ‘The Good Samaritan.’
We ended this week on a rocking note! The children loved dressing up as rock stars to celebrate London Maths Week.
