As part of our Computing/PSHE learning, today Y6 thought critically about how gender stereotypes can affect the ways they view themselves and others.

We started the lesson by thinking about a definition for “gender stereotype” and then described how they can be present online.

We then described how gender stereotypes can lead to unfairness or bias.

Finally, we created an avatar and a poem that show how gender stereotypes should not impact who we are.
We are really proud of the work the children produced!
