This week in maths, Nursery have been learning to use positional language with the help of one of our favourite stories ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. The children have enjoyed using actions to help them learn words ‘over’, ‘under’ and ‘through’ as well as creating their own bear caves to play ‘in’. The children also enjoyed going on their own bear hunts at home. Finding hidden teddies and using positional language to describe where they found them.
