As part of the Year 1 topic ‘Flight’ we set off balloons to hopefully be discovered around the world! Inside of them the children wrote a letter, kindly asking whoever finds them to send us a letter back!
We also spoke about why we use the gas Helium and the density of the gas that leads to why it floats/flies in the air. The children were amazed as you can see from the pictures below!
If you receive a letter inside a balloon, wherever you may be, we would appreciate a response!
