A busy half term in year 5 and this week has been no different.
On Tuesday, Year 5 and Year 6 took part in a carousel to remember Black History Month. The activities included music and researching famous black men and women in history.
Friday afternoon was an action-packed one in Year 5 with the children creating their Anglo-Saxon shields (all ready for battle!)
To finish our afternoon, Year 5 came together to support one another whilst they showcased their Genius Hour projects. A huge well done to all the children for their hard work over the past six weeks during Genius Hour. It was clear to see how passionate and enthusiastic they all were!
All it leaves us to say now is have a wonderful half term and enjoy the well deserved rest.
