This week we were lucky enough to meet Steven Lenton. He is the illustrator of the best-selling Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam series. He told us that he loves to illustrate books and fill them with fun and charming characters. We loved seeing the brave dalmatians and gruesome Cruella De Vil. Next, he taught us how to draw one of his most famous characters, starting with an egg shape and then adding the bobble hat and then the different features. We clearly have some budding illustrators at St Joseph’s. What an enjoyable afternoon!
