A Week of Great Learning in Nursery

This week in Nursery we have continued reading the story Za-Za’s Baby Brother. The children retold the story themselves using a story map.  They have enjoyed making their own books and mark making what happened in the pictures.

Attalia said “It is my Za-Za book.”

The children used black and white playdough to create their own zebra’s just like in the story.

Kenny said “It is my zebra.”

The children also used different materials to create their very own zebra faces.

We went on a listening walk around our environment and heard lots of different sounds. Solomon said “I hear builders.” Max said “it’s birds tweeting.”

Nalah said “I can hear the chickens.”

The children also had a great time doing PE with Mr Grant.  Myla Rose said “I liked doing the hopping.”

Edward said “I love PE.”
