This week in Reception we have been continuing our phonics learning, learning the sounds and letters: ‘h,’ ‘b,’ ‘f‘ and ‘ff.’ The children have continued their mark making and have even started challenging themselves to sound out and write words. In Maths we have been continuing consolidating one to one correspondence and finding 1 more and 1 less than numbers. In Religion we also talked about Baptism and that it is a special time when you are formally welcomed into God’s family.
We received exciting news this week with the arrival of Mrs Holland’s baby girl. The children loved writing cards for her to say congratulations!
