This week in year 1 our key text has been Supertatoe. At the beginning of the week there was a Catastrophe in Year 1, during break time ‘Evil Pea’ escaped from the freezer and came into our classes, he did some very mischievous things! When we returned from break we discovered a crime scene, carrot was rapped in loo roll, broccoli had been chopped up and Supertatoe has been trapped!
Throughout the week the children did lots of Supertatoe challenges including sequencing the story, describing Evil Pea and Supertaoe, writing a wanted poster for Evil Pea and role playing different scenes. We had lots of fun being different characters in the story.
